Joseph currently works for the global anti-corruption UK subsidiary of Transparency International and volunteers for the electoral reform organisation Make Votes Matter to try and bring proportional representation to UK politics. He is a passionate advocate for the importance of flourishing debate and free speech in a healthy, democratic society and believes that a more conciliatory attitude is needed in British politics. Outside of the UK, Joseph is interested in foreign affairs, especially in the Middle East and Africa, with a special affinity for Zimbabwe, having lived there as a child.
